Tilo Sloboda's Publications The following is a list of my publications, from the time when I was working at Prof.Alex Waibel's Interactive Systems Labs (ISL Germany) at the University of Karlsruhe. The other half of the Interactive Systems Labs (ISL USA) is at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh. The Interactive Systems Labs aim to develop user interfaces that improve human-machine and human-to-human communication. Some challenging examples of their interests are the development of various speech recognizers for spontaneous and telephone speech, a speech-to-speech translation system (the JANUS project) and multimodal interfaces.
